We have so much to offer children, youth, and adults. Look, learn, and create together in the museum.

Blue Spots Transparent

Craft with Us - July & August

Join us for Craft with Us at the Transcona Museum. Create crafts related to the theme of the week and Transcona's history! We have three timeslots available on every crafting day; 10:45 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm. Each timeslot is for 45 minutes.

Participants must pre-register as space is limited. One ticket per child, not including parents or guardians. There are 8 spots total per timeslot. A parent or guardian must accompany children if they are under 12 years of age. The museum is a mask-friendly space. 

 

Registration is for the 2024 season will open in late June.

KidsQuest - July & August

Explore the community of Transcona! KidsQuest is a scavenger hunt that guides our visitors around Transcona to discover historical landmarks (like CN 2747) and challenge them with activities and questions at each stop. Spend a day or the whole summer completing the quest - it's up to you! All participants have the chance to be entered into the Grand Prize draw on August 29.

 

Price = $1.00 / booklet.

MuralQuest - All Year

Explore the outdoor murals in Downtown Transcona through MuralQuest! This mural-focused scavenger hunt guides our visitors through a collection of historic and contemporary murals painted over the past 30 years. Complete the quest on your own or during a Murals of Transcona walking tour - it's up to you!

Price = FREE

Family Craft Events - Seasonal

Enjoy activities year-round with the Transcona Museum! Have fun at the museum while enjoying crafts, games, stories, and scavenger hunts! These events are seasonal and include Valentine's Day, Spring Break, Manitoba Day, Halloween, and the Winter Holidays. Ticket prices (where applicable) include all craft-making supplies.

The museum is a mask-friendly space for our visitors!
