About the event

Visit CN 2747 during our Open Gate hours on (most) Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 - 11:30 am in July and August. These dates/hours are subject to weather conditions. We will post all changes and updates on our social media pages as soon as possible.


CN 2747 is located in Rotary Heritage Park (735 Kildare Avenue West). The park is situated on Plessis Road, north of Kildare Avenue West/Transcona Boulevard. There is a parking lot available in Rotary Heritage Park near the Transcona Trail. Please note that space is limited.


CN 2747 enclosure is wheelchair, walker, and stroller accessible by footpaths (paved and gravel) in Rotary Heritage Park. There is a concrete pad that surrounds CN 2747 within the enclosure so visitors can view the steam locomotive up close. Visitors can access the locomotive's cab by a single staircase.
