Murals of Transcona tours run from 2:00 - 3:15 pm on Thursdays in July and August.

All tours depart from and finish at the Transcona Museum (141 Regent Avenue West).  Please note that the tours are wheelchair and stroller accessible but sidewalks may be in poor condition and challenging to navigate.  The tours wind through Downtown Transcona, along sidewalks, alleyways, and parking lots.  Pavement and gravel may be uneven.  We cross streets that do not have lights or signals to stop traffic.  There are a few benches along the tour.  The main street in Transcona is busy and loud at times.

Tickets are only valid for the dates booked and are not transferrable between events.  Please ensure you have registered for the correct tour and date.  Tours are subject to cancellation due to severe weather conditions.

A Note on Programs and Events: Please get in touch with the museum should you be unable to attend. This allows the people on the waitlist to participate. No-shows with no payments may be prohibited from registering for future programs and events.

The Transcona Museum is located on ancestral lands, on Treaty One Territory. These lands are the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. Our drinking water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation. We respect the Treaties made on these territories, acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and dedicate ourselves to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.

The Transcona Museum gratefully acknowledges the City of Winnipeg's ongoing support of museum operations and facility maintenance.
