About the event

Explore the community of Transcona! KidsQuest is a scavenger hunt that guides our visitors around Transcona to discover historical landmarks (like CN 2747) and challenge them with activities and questions at each stop. Spend a day or the whole summer completing the quest - it's up to you! All participants have the chance to be entered into the Grand Prize draw at the end of August. Please note: Entry into the Grand Prize draw is only valid for individuals whose registration information matches their assigned booklet number. One entry per booklet.

Grand Prize entry instructions are provided in the KidsQuest booklets.

KidsQuest booklets are $1.00 each and can be purchased online or payment completed at the Transcona Museum (outside, contactless preferred). Individuals who choose a digital booklet option will be sent an email with their assigned booklets. Please note: If you choose a digital booklet after museum hours (4:30 pm), it will be emailed out the following day. If you purchase on a Friday after hours, you will receive the booklets on a Monday.

The Transcona Museum is located on ancestral lands, on Treaty One Territory. These lands are the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. Our drinking water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation. We respect the Treaties made on these territories, acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and dedicate ourselves to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.

The Transcona Museum gratefully acknowledges the City of Winnipeg's ongoing support of museum operations and facility maintenance.
