The National Trust for Canada is giving exciting prizes during Historic Places Days! Take a photo or video while visiting the Transcona Museum or CN 2747, and post it on your Facebook or Instagram using the hashtags #HistoricPlacesDays and #HPDContest2025. Community Walking Tours

Join a walking tour of Downtown Transcona on Thursday, July 17. "Historic Transcona" runs from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm, and "Murals of Transcona" runs from 2:00 - 3:15 pm. Book your tickets here: https://www.transconamuseum.mb.ca/transcona-historic-walking-tours


Visit CN 2747

Visit the historic steam locomotive CN 2747 during open-gate hours on Saturday, July 19 from 10:00 - 11:30 am. Museum staff and volunteers will be on-site to answer any questions you may have. Additional visitor information: https://www.transconamuseum.mb.ca/visitor-information

Our drinking water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation.
