Visitors are welcome to bring an heirloom from home, and we will provide guidance on how to best preserve your treasured pieces. This is a drop-in event that includes take-home resource guides. This event is part of Culture Days Manitoba.

About the event

Join us for a drop-in informational event where museum staff will offer guidance on how best to preserve items like photographs, documents, newspapers, and more. Visitors are welcome to bring their heirlooms from home to discuss. Examples of conservation materials will be on display, and guides and resources will be available for you to take home.


Please note that the Transcona Museum does not provide conservation treatments for objects and archival materials to the general public.
