As we gear up to celebrate the rich history and vibrant spirit of our beloved city, we invite you to contribute your images—whether they capture the essence of Winnipeg today or hold a piece of its fascinating history.

What are we looking for?

• Current snapshots of Winnipeg's landmarks, neighbourhoods, and community events.
• Historical photographs that showcase the evolution and milestones of our city.
• Heartwarming moments, architectural marvels, and snapshots of daily life that define Winnipeg's unique character.

Why participate?

Not only will your images be featured in the Transcona Museum's special exhibition "Celebrating Winnipeg 150" which will run from May 2024 - March 2025, as well as the Transcona BIZ's Centennial Square Summer Exhibit, but you'll also play a vital role in preserving and sharing the story of Winnipeg. It's a chance to showcase your talent, connect with fellow Winnipeggers, and contribute to a milestone celebration for our city.

How to Submit - Deadline March 15, 2024
1. Email your high-resolution images, JPEG or PNG format to info@transconamuseum.mb.ca or admin@transconabiz.ca
2. Include a brief description or story behind each photograph.
3. The photos selected for use in the exhibition will receive photo credit.

Photographers will be required to sign a consent form for the use of their photos in the exhibition and any marketing around the exhibit.

The Transcona Museum is located on ancestral lands, on Treaty One Territory. These lands are the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
