Craft with Us (Virtual) - July & August

Due to COVID-19, our Summer Drop-In program is changing to a virtual Craft with Us event happening in July and August on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Our Craft with Us events for kids takes place on Facebook and Instagram. Every week there is a different theme (like space, history, sports) and related craft activities. A promo video will be posted on Mondays with instructions for the week's craft activities, which take place on Wednesdays and Fridays. Stay tuned for further updates.

KidsQuest - July & August

Please note that due to COVID-19, the KidsQuest program will be changing for the upcoming 2020 season. More details to follow, so stay tuned. 

 

KidsQuest is a scavenger hunt that guides our visitors around Transcona to discover major landmarks and highlights within the community. All participants have the chance to be entered into the Grand Prize draw at the end of August. 

Price = $1.00 / booklet

Walking Tours - July & August

Walking Tours of downtown Transcona are offered in the summer. We offer two tours: a walk through historic downtown Transcona and a walk featuring the colourful murals in the downtown core of Transcona.  

 

Historic Transcona: Thursday, 11:00 am - 12:15 pm

Transcona Murals Tour: Thursday, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

 

Price =

Adults & Seniors - $5

Youth (ages 4-12) - $2

Children (ages 0-3) - Free

Members get a 10% discount

To join a walking tour, tickets must be pre-purchased through our Events page or prior to the event at the Transcona Museum. Space is limited.

Family Craft Events - Seasonal

Have fun at the museum while enjoying crafts, games, stories, and scavenger hunts. 

 

These events are seasonal and include Valentine's Day, Spring Break, Manitoba Day, Canada Day, Halloween, and the Winter Holidays.

 

Ticket prices (where applicable) include all craft-making supplies.
