The 2012 celebration for Manitoba Day is now in the planning stages. Take a look at several events the THM held in 2011 to celebrate Manitoba's 141st birthday:
May 1- New exhibits open today that the THM.
Come discover our new exhibits “Wanted: Your Questions Answered”, “Art or Artifact?”, “What Is That?”, and “Anatomy of a Medal". We also have our newly expanded Kid's Zone for you to explore. At the THM there is something for everyone!
May 1- The THM is participating Jane’s Walk once again this year.
This year our tour will take place at 1:00pm. The tour is entitled “Transcona: From Town to City to Community”.

May 12- Happy Manitoba Day!
A special behind-the-scenes tour will be offered.
Come and see what many do not get a chance to; the treasures of the THM. Tour starts at 1:00pm sharp.
May 18- International Museum’s Day. Come and celebrate with us.
The Curator will be leading a historical walking tour of Downtown Transcona.

In 2010, the THM has also partnered with Manitoba Homecoming 2010 the THM is on the Domes, Windmills and Forest Playground Pass. We are offering pass holders free admission and 10% off in our gift shop.
